Adobe has announced that GoLive has been officially discontinued and that development and sales will cease as of April 28, 2008.
What does this mean for MenuMachine?
Will you be producing a version of MenuMachine that works with Dreamweaver?
We are understandably displeased with Adobe's decision, however we were not surprised by the announcement.
We have been working for some time now on a new product that does not rely on GoLive and that supports Adobe Dreamweaver. It is intended that this upcoming product will be able to import MenuMachine 2 menu structures.
The new product will also produce code that is accessible, fast and easy to integrate with server-side tools.
This upcoming product is a complete rewrite from the ground up and as such has taken some time to develop. Please understand that we want to ensure it is completely ready and bug-free before releasing it. We cannot give a release date at this time but we will ensure that all customers are notified when it becomes available. Please believe that we are working as hard as we can to have this solution ready for you as soon as possible. We think you will agree that the wait was worth it.

For those users who intend to migrate to Dreamweaver in the meantime, we have an article that explains how you can use GoLive in conjunction with Dreamweaver to manage your existing MenuMachine menus: Article 000157.
