Multiple menu components on a page, only one menu works (MM1)

Issue

If you have two MenuMachine 1 menus on a page, and each menu is in a Component, only one menu will work.

This is because the menus in the two separate components have the same floating box (layer) name and GoLive only recognizes one of the floating boxes/layers because of the name conflict.

Solution

Follow these steps:

1. Open each Component page and select the floating box (layer) that the MenuMachine 1 menu sits in.

2. In the Inspector, change the name of the floating box from the default name (bbML) to another of your choice.

3. The name must start with a letter (not a number) and must not contain any symbols or spaces apart from the underscore character (_).

4. Make sure the floating boxes in each of the Component pages have different names.

5. Save and close the Component pages to update all pages that reference them.
