Category: Crashes or Errors

Issue

Upon launch, GoLive 6 for Macintosh appears to launch, but MenuMachine 1 does not load.

A blank dialog window appears titled "MenuMachine Warning".

The dialog box has only a blue OK button, but does not allow a cancel or any other action to take place.

Required to Force Quit GoLive to continue.

Solution

This can be caused by the hard disk on which GoLive is installed having a space as the first character of its name. This causes problems due to an obscure bug in GoLive.

To fix:

Rename your hard disk and re-launch GoLive.

If this does not fix the problem, contact support at http://www.menumachine.com/contact/ with the following information:

1. The path to your GoLive application folder

2. An Apple System Profiler report. You can create this by going to "About this Mac" in the Apple menu an then clicking on "More Info". When Apple System Profiler appears, choose "Save As" from the File menu to save the report.

3. A screen shot of any error messages.
