Issue

GoLive for Windows freezes on launch if MenuMachine 1 is installed but launches OK when MenuMachine 1 is not installed.

Solution

This can be caused by a corrupted GoLive preferences file.

To fix:

Locate the Adobe GoLive 6.prf file.

On Windows XP, this will usually be located here:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe GoLive\Adobe GoLive 6.prf

The folder "Application Data" might be hidden, in which case you may need to turn on the viewing of invisible folders in:

Tools > Folder Options > View in Windows Explorer

THEN

When you re-launch GoLive you will have to enter the MenuMachine serial number again.

Once GoLive has launched, you must quit GoLive to ensure the preferences are saved.

The next time you launch GoLive you should not be asked for the MenuMachine serial number.
