Error Message - Could not Connect to Key Server 403 Forbidden (MM1)

Issue

While entering serial number to activate MenuMachine 1, the following error is seen:

Could not connect to key server: please check your connection to the Internet. The error returned was: 403 Forbidden.

Solution

This error (403 Forbidden) means that more than just the serial number has been pasted into the serial number field.

Re-copy the serial number carefully and paste again, making sure that no extra characters are at the end of the number.
