MenuMachine not Installing into GoLive CS (MM2)

Issue

The MenuMachine 2 installer finds the latest version of GoLive on your system and installs into that version by default.

If you have both GoLive CS and GoLive CS2 on the same computer, the installer will install into GoLive CS2.

If you still use GoLive CS, use these instructions to install MenuMachine into GoLive CS manually.

Solution

To install MenuMachine 2 into GoLive CS if it has already been installed into GoLive CS2 on the same computer:

Mac OS X manual install instructions:

1. When you run the MenuMachine 2 installer the first time, a folder called MenuMachine 2 is placed in your Applications folder.

2. Inside this folder is a file called Manual install instructions.

3. Open the read me file and follow the instructions to install into GoLive CS.


Windows OS manual install instructions:

1. Run the MenuMachine 2 installer again.

2. When you get to the screen titled Installation folder, use the Change button to locate the GoLive CS folder on your computer and choose that as the installation folder.
