Once you have saved your page (into an open GoLive site) you can use the Preview in browser button in the GoLive toolbar.
You can add multiple browsers to the drop-down list under this button by choosing Edit… from the list and browsing your computer for other browsers. Some browsers can be found automatically using the Find All button but others such as Safari may need to be located on your computer manually. The browser you mark with a tick will be the default browser and its icon will show as the Preview in browser button icon.
If you have added images to the top level menu, and created the submenus with colored backgrounds, your menu should look something like this. You can see that the menus overlap other html elements such as text, page backgrounds, images and tables.
Obviously we can improve on this page by changing the way the menu as a whole looks, and where it is positioned.

Now that the individual menu items have been built and edited, you can make global changes to the menu to change the position of the menu, borders, arrows for submmenus, menu orientation and use other techniques to control the menu system as a whole.
These techniques are discussed in the next sections.
