The Border Options are found in the Format tab of the MenuMachine inspector.
1) By default, a 2px black border is selected to show around and between each menu item. The result is like the example below.
2) Turn off the internal borders by unchecking the Display border between menu items box. The result is like the example below. Notice that the outside border remains but the border has gone between menu items.
3) To have no borders, turn off the internal borders by unchecking the Display border between menu items box and set the border width to 0px. The result is like the below example. Notice that all borders have gone.
4) Of course you can have borders on the top level but not on submenus or vice-versa by using the Use different formatting for top level and submenus modes as explained on the previous page.
5) If you have transparent menu items with a border setting, the border becomes transparent. The example below has a variety of settings to show that you can mix and match settings to suit almost any design.

Sub-submenus (level 3) Each menu item has been made transparent (Edit tab), the border applied has become transparent on these items. Height was changed to 18px (Edit tab)
