The Other Options are found in the Format tab of the MenuMachine inspector.
1) By default, Show arrows for submenus is not checked.
2) When you turn this option on, some image files will be copied to the GeneratedItems folder in your site. These are:
| menutriangle.gif |
 |
| menutriangledown.gif |
 |
| menutriangleleft.gif |
 |
MenuMachine will add links to these files into page so it can display these files if you check Show arrows for submenus.
3) You can change the Arrow offset to suit your design. The values move the arrow away from the side edge of a menu item the specified amount of pixels.
Using Custom arrows
As long as you keep the same names and put the files in the same place (generally the GeneratedItems folder), you can replace the default arrows with your own images.
Note: The custom arrows will not preview in GoLive. You have to preview the page in a browser to see the custom arrows in you have placed in the GeneratedItems folder.
(If you need to view the pages in GoLive, you can change the master arrow files in the GoLive application folder > Modules > Extend Scripts > MenuMachine >images > menutriangles folder, but remember that MenuMachine copies these master files into every site that uses MenuMachine with arrows. ALL your menus will have these arrows.)
It is highly recommended that you keep copies of the original and new arrow files elsewhere in case you need to reinstate them at any point.
