To control the menu's behavior, orientation and position, go to the MenuMachine Inspector and click on the Options tab.

The settings you choose in this tab are applied globally - the whole menu is affected. The settings do not affect individual menu items like the Edit tab settings or just top level or submenus like the Format tab.

The Options tab is shown below with its default settings. We'll look at these settings in this section.
