Problem: Serial Number Activation unsuccessful
When you first Launch GoLive after installing MenuMachine, you are asked to enter your Name and Serial Number. Automatic serial number activation will then take place via your internet connection.
If Activation is not successful, check the following:
Problem 1. Your computer is not connected to the internet.
Solution: Connect to the internet. Quit GoLive and re-launch.
Problem 2. You may have entered an incorrect or incomplete serial number.
Solution: Copy and Paste the serial number carefully
The MenuMachine serial number is in the form of:
12345678-12345678-12345678-12345678
1. You will only be able to enter up to and including 35 characters in total (including the dashes). Check to make sure you have entered them all.
2. Make sure you are using your MenuMachine serial number, not your GoLive serial number.
3. Copy and paste the serial number from the original email you received from Kagi or SWREG.
4. Make sure you do not accidentally paste in any extra characters, spaces or carriage returns into the field. Your cursor should be visible in the field after the last character.
5. If you MUST type the serial number, any letters should be in UPPER case.
6. The character '0' is always a zero.
If you want to check your serial number but don't have your original email from Kagi or SWREG, click here.
If you still can't get it to work, contact the MenuMachine support team.
Problem 3. You may be behind a firewall.
Solution: Contact Big Bang
If you are using a Proxy server, you must set the GoLive configuration to have a connection on port 80 to www.bigbangextensions.com.
If you are behind a firewall and cannot get Activation to work, contact the MenuMachine support team.
Problem 4. You have used a flagged serial number
Solution: Contact Big Bang
If you have used a serial number which is known to be a stolen number, it may be flagged and rejected by the activation process. If you have received the message in error, please contact the MenuMachine support team.
