Problem: GoLive CS for Windows sometimes crashes during the auto file updating after saving a Component.
It can happen to your Component even when the MenuMachine object is removed.
The crash seems to happen when the number of files to be updated is relatively large, causing the "updating files" list to scroll many times. It is reproducible on Windows XP and GoLive CS 7.0.2 but may also affect other OS/GL version combinations.
There is possibly something wrong with the code that updates the scrolling list of files that are being updated, causing the drawing routines to crash.
Solution: Cover the "update" window with a non-GoLive window
A workaround that seems to fix the problem is to have another non-GoLive window open in the background (e.g. Windows Explorer) while you are working in GoLive.
When you are ready to update your Component and you click "OK" in the dialog that asks you which files to update, quickly click the background window in the taskbar to bring the window to the foreground so that it completely covers the updating files list.

IMPORTANT: You can move the front window so it is slightly below the progress bar but you must not be able to see the list of updating files. Wait until the update has completed and then move GoLive to the foreground again.

Once the update has completed successfully with the other window in front, you can bring GoLive to the foreground again, save the site and resume working.
