Script Error: Undefined is not an object – Mac OSX

The Javascript debugger window apears and contains the following:

Script error: undefined is not an object
In Module: MenuMachine
At line: xx :alert(n.resultcode);

Solution: Check the name of your hard drive does not begin with a space.

GoLive appears to have a bug where it cannot correctly locate files installed in the GoLive folder if the path begins with a space.

That is, if the name of the hard drive where GoLive is installed begins with a space character, you may receive the above error message.

To fix it, you need to remove the space character from the beginning of the name of your hard drive.

You will need to click on the name of the drive to see the space and delete it.

If you are still having problems, please contact Big Bang support and send an Apple System Profiler report.

To open the System Profiler:

Go to the Apple menu and select 'About this Mac'.

In that screen you will see a button called 'More Info...'. Click on that button.

The System Profile will open.

Go to the File menu and 'Save as...'

Save the file and then attach it to an email.

Send this file to support along with the other information on this page.
